Misgendering

During a virtual team presentation, a director is praising Sam, a non-binary colleague who uses they/them pronouns. The director says, "She did an incredible job pulling these metrics together. Her dedication to this launch really saved the quarter." The director is unaware of the mistake and keeps rolling through the presentation slides. Sam is present on the call with their camera on, and their face visibly drops, but they don't want to interrupt the director's presentation.
