Social Innovation Consulting

While our ever-changing world invites new solutions to systemic problems, systems work to hold problems in place. Unless we change the systems themselves, the problems persist. We use an equity-centered design approach to help clients imagine and implement new, sustainable solutions to persistent problems.

Research

The foundation of our approach is developing a deep, empathetic understanding of a community or group of people. We help clients realize new insights, investigate hunches, and spot emerging trends. We use a variety of quantitative and qualitative research techniques, tailored to the circumstance of each engagement. We conduct research to help our clients understand community needs, perceptions of their organization, optimum features and pricing of possible solutions, and to establish a baseline understanding of the problems and systems in place.

Community engagement

Community co-creation is the key to sustainable solutions. Ideas that come from the community and are fully aligned with the communities needs and capabilities have the greatest chance of success. We design and facilitate rich, engaging community engagement experiences to share information, develop insights, and co-create new ideas for positive change.

Our commitment to equity and our experience designing engaging community experiences has enabled us to develop unique Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training experiences designed for organizations who are ready to move beyond conversations into effective DEI action.
